Throughout the month of October, we celebrated Cooperative month by visiting First grade classrooms across our trade territory and taught them about Cooperatives and Ag Valley Co-op. Classrooms visited were Arapahoe, Cambridge, Eustis - Farnam, Maywood, Medicine Valley, North Platte, Norton, South Platte, Southern Valley, and Southwest.

Over 225 students learned about Cooperatives. 225 Students received a stocking hat and a water bottle from Ag Valley Coop.

Summer Internships Ag Valley Co-op is looking to fill internships for summer 2022 and career opportunities.

Representatives from Ag Valley Co-op have attended five career fairs including Fort Hays State University, Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture, Southeast Community College, University of Nebraska at Kearney, and University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Internships available are Agronomy Operations, Agronomy Sales, Feed Sales, and Public Relations Intern. Internships are paid and provide college students the opportunity to have an all-encompassing summer experience. Each student selected will work with a selected mentor and set a specific goals within their area of study and job responsibility. Ag Valley wants each student to maximize the education and fun they will receive this summer. For more information on internships or job opportunities email careers@agvalley.com.

Grease for Gift Cards As you are wrapping up harvest season, it may be time to service your equipment. Ag Valley Co-op and Cenex are here to offer you the highest quality products you need to keep your equipment running. As you look to do maintenance during the winter months and need oil, consider a program offered by Ag Valley Co-op and Cenex, Gift Card for Gallons.

Gift Cards for Gallons runs from November 1, 2021, through February 28, 2022. You will receive a $50 VISA gift card for every 100 gallons of qualifying lubricant products, bulk and packaged, along with qualifying grease products during this time. Through this deal, you could save $0.50 a gallon savings on every 100 gallons purchased. There is no limit to the number of gallons purchased. This offer is not valid if customer participates in any other CHS pricing program.

4,493 Gallons of E-15 Pumped to Fuel the Cure Throughout the month of October, Ag Valley Co-op participated in the #FuelTheCure Campaign sponsored by the Nebraska Ethanol Board. Three cents from every E-15 gallon purchased from the Bartley Cardtrols helped support the fight against breast cancer.

Skimmers at Arapahoe Fuel Pumps If you or another patron of Ag Valley Co-op has purchased fuel from the cardtrols in Arapahoe in the last month, we are asking that you please check your credit/debit card for unusual activity.

Two skimming devices have been discovered on pumps #1 and #6 in Arapahoe. Skimming devices allow for your credit or debit card information to be stolen when you swipe for fuel.

If you notice any unusual activity on your credit/debit card account, please contact your credit card company or bank. Please then report the unusual activity to the Furnas County Sheriff Department. **Please note: Ag Valley Co-op charge cards were not affected, only credit/debit cards.**

Harvest is Starting to Wind Down Ag Valley Co-op has had a very successful harvest this year. So far this year we have received 28,604,860 bushels of corn, 4,355,670 bushels of milo and 6,712,518 bushels of soybeans. Bean harvest wrapped up and corn and milo harvest is nearing completion. We thank our patrons who trust us with their business this harvest season.
