As we continue exploring Cooperatives and focusing on the benefits of being a part of the cooperative business model, the fourth cooperative principle is Autonomy and Independence. Cooperatives are autonomous, self help organizations controlled by their members, which is a core ideology of the cooperative system We exist to serve the interests of you, our owner, and this principle helps us to remember that It guarantees that no one person or organization can buy more control of Ag Valley Co op

Jeff Krejdl

As I finish up, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your business and your support of Ag Valley Co op The employees of Ag Valley Coop all know that without you, we would not exist, and we are incredibly thankful that you allow us to be part of your operation We try daily to bring value to you and your family farm Your success is our success, and we will continue to focus on things that help make you successful.

The one member, one vote principle will always control it.

From the CEO,

Have a safe and bountiful harvest, and please do not hesitate to give me a call anytime. I would enjoy the chance to visit with you

Thanks,

It is hard to look outside and feel optimistic about the upcoming fall harvest. The dry weather certainly has had an impact on grain production throughout the whole Ag Valley trade territory Demand for corn has been exceptionally strong, and we continue to ship grain into those markets We will have plenty of space to handle your fall production On a more positive note, we handled more wheat than we had anticipated, which may give us hope that the fall crop will surprise us. The market volatility keeps everyone nervous, and we are watching the grain, energy, and fertilizer markets very closely. Our goal is to keep Ag Valley Co op in the best position possible to provide you with the crop inputs you need when you need them and at a value that benefits you and the cooperative Your leadership team and the employee group are committed to making that happen, and we appreciate you putting your trust in Ag Valley Co op

As you start your preparations for fall harvest, I would again ask that you please check the traps on your grain trailers. If they need maintenance or rebuilt, please consider getting that done. Traps may open fine when the hopper is empty, but it may be tough to open when that trap gets a load on it. We have had several injuries to our employees attributable to traps that had not been adequately maintained Our employees are our most important asset If they are injured and cannot perform their duties, our ability to provide you the quality service you desire and deserve becomes compromised I appreciate your help!
