allocated to the sports sections of cricket, hockey and rugby in a formula to be agreed by a short-life group of 2 representatives each from the former Club Centre Committee and the Club Executive.

This joint settlement recognises the important role the sections played in the life of the Club Centre as well as the role played by the FP Club itself in inaugurating the Club Centre and supporting it financially.

This settlement also recognises the valuable role played not just by FP members of the Club Centre Committee but by associate members. In a similar way the vital role of associate members of the sections is recognised in furthering sport and coaching.

In that spirit our energies will be directed at securing the future of the FP Club and associated Centres and Sections with an emphasis on coaching and the encouragement of young people including pupils of AGS.

This joint statement and agreement is made on the explicit basis that any tensions remaining about the closure of the Club Centre are now a matter of history.

When we used to have holidays
