The two-day event was held as a venue for consultation with more than 10 hotel employees at MGM Resort International, a global hotel operator, to promote the use of Korean ingredients and increase the number of Korean dishes in hotel buffets and other restaurants. Easy access to internationally popular foods

Food truck

A food truck is best described as a portable fast food takeout counter. It has a hygienic and easy-to-use cooking space, and sells several items that can be prepared instantly. Food trucks can be found at hundreds of festivals and tourist attractions across Korea.

Convenient food becomes stylish and culturally relevant - 'Food trucks' Truck food - also referred to as street food - is the latest trend in the convenient food industry. According to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, the number of food trucks in Korea has skyrocketed, from just three in 2015 to 448 last year. By the end of the year, it is expected that there will be 800 food trucks in Seoul, and their number will also increase in other regions of the country. Food trucks have changed the market for convenient food, offering the advantages of mobility,

The meal substitute, which consists of 170 milliliters of water combined with the powder in the bottle, meets the nutrition standard suggested by the Korean Nutrition Society. Powdered meal substitutes are available in a variety of flavors and colors, including purple sweet potatoes and blueberries.

Differences among convenient foods at convenience stores in different regions The convenience store industry is introducing convenient foods that incorporate local specialties into their ingredients. CU, a convenience store chain, will be showcasing three kinds of convenient food that use Jeju-do’s black pork dishes that feature tteokbokki (spicy stir-fried rice cakes), gimbap, fries, Korean pancakes, and Jeju-do’s black pork will also be sold. Last year, the company also introduced a dish that included cockles from Jeollanam-do.

Convenient foods that include fish that normally take a long time to cook and prepare are also available in convenience stores. In Japan, 600 fish products that can be eaten immediately upon purchase or after being heated up in a microwave oven are now available in the market, after achieving the "Fast Fish" certification.

The smell of the cookies when they are being baked, the sweet and fluffy red bean paste, and the crunchy walnuts make them a popular snack for everyone. A ‘hot bar’ is a fish or chicken cake skewered on a stick. There are many different types of hot bars, including spicy seafood bar all of which have a chewy texture and excellent flavor.

Fish cakes are especially popular in winter. Drinking the fish broth with the skewered fish cake can warm up the body. The snack is also known as ‘roasted squid on a stone plate’, as it is heated up on a stone plate.

For this reason, Foodex Japan 2018, which was held on March 6th at the Nippon Convention Center in Chiba near Tokyo ( Japan), has received a great deal of attention from people in the industry.

Most Korean broccoli is produced in the inland area from spring to autumn and in Jeju Island in the winter, and can be enjoyed fresh throughout the year. In particular, Jeju broccoli, which is produced from late autumn to the following spring, is excellent in terms of sweetness, crisp texture, and storage, and has been garnering a favorable reputation overseas as a result.

Efficacy Broccoli is considered an ideal nutritious food because it contains elements such as beta carotene and selenium, which have anti-cancer effects. It is known that sulforaphane and indole in broccolis inhibit carcinogens, and restrain the growth and metastasis of breast cancer cells.

There are two subsidies available for Korean agricultural product importers. The first is packaging support, which pays up to 90 percent of the total cost of packaging up to a limit of 20 million won. Packaging designs that reflect the local culture are also provided.
