PHOTOSHOP ‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑ Pg 4
‘What a sick feeling’ is a photoshop mashup I did to portray how I felt during my covid isolation. I used multiple royalty‑free images to create the final product. In order to create this whole new image, I mashed 10 different pictures together with some help from the tools on Photoshop. I mainly used the magnetic lasso to select out the parts of the image that I want and to also erase what I do not need. The tools were not hard to use and they gave me the freedom to extract whatever part I want from its original image. Learning to use the clipping mask, and layer mask has helped me a lot as I could simply go back to the original image whenever I need to. I also played around with the hue and saturation adjustments, brightness, and contrasts, opacity, warp and skew, played around with proportions, and also some filters throughout the process.
This Zombie‑ vampire mashup was done using Photoshop. Multiple images were used to create this final zombie product. My own self portrait was used as the main element. With the help of different tools on Photoshop, I was able to play around with the hue and saturation adjustments to create the red coloured skin. Lasso tool to crop out images for the mashup and warp tool to give my eyes a scarier look. For the skin texture, tree barks images were used to create the rotten flesh look. The background of a full blood moon suited the whole zombie‑vampiry vibe.
