With a legacy of achievement, our Athletics program has for many years instilled a lifelong commitment to teamwork, leadership, and reaching one’s personal best. Our program supports the pre-collegiate athlete as well as the young woman who wants to maintain a healthy lifestyle, with the cornerstone being the development of the character and commitment to meet any task that lies ahead.
A powerful force in STUDY SPORTand
Students that pair athletics and academics level up their education — with added lessons in teamwork, problem-solving, discipline, commitment, time management, leadership, confidence, and so much more.
A winning mindset that transcends the classroom — that’s what our girls get from participating in athletics during their years at Agnes Irwin. Beyond the obvious benefits of physical activity and spirited play, students build character and learn how to win, and how to lose. They understand the resilience it takes to keep trying and to work toward a goal that takes practice, setting them up to take on any future challenge.
Our teams win championships. We produce formidable athletes, trained by elite coaches, that go on to compete at NCAA Division I, II, and III colleges and universities across the country.
Agnes Irwin has a rich history of helping girls discover who they are, and how they want to be known — as a scholar, a teammate, a soccer star, a champion, and everything in between. This legacy of athletics woven into our dedication to the precollegiate preparation is a source of pride for the entire school. We are proud to be Agnes Irwin Owls.
