WRITING WITH A PURPOSE
At times it feels as if our gifts are underrated and will cause us to stop working on projects. The question that we tend to ask ourselves is, Why Bother? 1 Just because you don't see the crowd does not mean that you are not making an impact The masses do not always determine success It is true that we want our books to be read songs to be heard etc. but what if you inspire 1 person to start following their dreams because they see you do it? Isn't that success? 2 Proverbs 18:16 says, "A Man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men" Until your season of reaping comes, keep being true to your gift You will receive your well deserved recognition 3 Every time that you use your gift you are Expressing Yourself When I write I feel such freedom and it really is my therapy So, I write for me and if someone else is blessed from it, that is the added bonus Why Bother? Because if you stop now, you will miss the greatest moment in your life Don't Stop1

Should I Publish my own book or use Traditional Publishers?

Why I chose Children's Books as my writing focus? I was a Youth Minister for over 20 years and even prior to that, I've always had a passion for young people I remember going through peer pressure and puberty. It was horrible and I made so many wrong decisions. If I can reach one child through my writings and let them know that they are loved, just the way that they are, Mission Accomplished!
