FALL 2024 RECRUITMENT SEASON

INTERFRATERNITY COUNCIL (IFC)
Many months before this year’s class of potential new members of the Aggie Greek community moved into town, the leadership of CPC and their individual organizations were hard at work preparing for 2024 Primary Recruitment, With themes ranging from empowerment to philanthropy, each chapter showcased their unique values. The excitement was palpable, even in the 100+ degree heat. With the help of gracious volunteers, each round of recruitment was a big success.
Recruitment for 17 chapters under the banner of IFC commenced with Round Zero in Aggie Park to kick off Formal Recruitment on Friday, Aug. 16. Each organization held their own variety of recruitment events catered to everything from sports and games to professional skills like networking. The culture of each chapter was on full display as hundreds of Aggies looked to find life-long friends. Chapters did well to display values like brotherhood, leadership, and service to send a unified message about IFC’s mission.
We closed the wrapped up on the first day of class with an indoor Bid Day celebration. We filled Rudder Auditorium to the brim and kicked off the celebration with some special guests, our Texas Aggie Yell Leaders. This year 1,160 women ran home on Bid Day, and we are excited to welcome many more through the COB process.
IFC welcomed the nearly 400 members into the community on Saturday, Aug. 24 on the steps of the Administration Building. Bid Day had electric energy and was the perfect way to say, “Howdy!”, More will join the community through COB continues throughout the semester.
