2002 Drivers' Reunion
orty-six drivers and their spouses, family and friends - a total of 80 people - gathered near Baltimore in late September for a memorable reunion of former AFS drivers.

The reunion was held at the Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies just outside Baltimore, which was also hosting a meeting of the leadership of AFS programs around the world - the Directors and Chairs of the AFS organizations in 50 countries, the Board of Trustees and AFS International staff. It is the first time the two groups have met jointly and the current AFS leaders enjoyed the inspiration provided by the drivers. The first event bined group at about the AFS that has united

The following morning, while the international delegates worked in meetings, two buses transported the drivers' reunion group to Washington, for three major events. First was a reception at the German Ambassador's residence, a spectacular building with a sweeping view of the nation's capital.
