On 1 Septanber 1987 Lawrence D. Geller assumed the newly created position of AFSArchivist under a grant fran the National Historical Publications and Records Ccmnission. He will apply his archival expertise to the further organization of the holdings of AFSArchives, and to the developnent of a records management system for the AFS.
