Scindia Kanya Vidhyalaya, Gwalior was founded in 1956, by Late H. H. Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia, who bore a profound interest in social reform. As a visionary, she always dreamt of equipping young Indian girls with educaon and lifelong learning. It was her dream to make educaon accessible to all girls.

Over the years, SKV has evolved into an esteemed centre of learning. As an instuon, it leaves no stones unturned in providing the best to the students. It's a programme designed by the students under the abled guidance of their Principal Mrs. Nishi Misra to improve the standards of women hygiene.

The school is striving towards receiving accreditaon for the Internaonal Baccalaureate that would offer internaonal opportunies to teachers as well as will allow them to upgrade themselves through training & various professional development acvies.
