Everything changes, nothing is constant, but the only thing which remains constant over time is change itself The Virtual Effect+ Workshop organized by AFS India was an opportunity for us to step back to analyze and explore our thoughts about various issues and solutions related to SDGs. It was quite an interactive workshop that required us to ponder and work as individuals and as a group. The trainer apprised us of the significance of global citizenship in an engaging way, which has definitely motivated us to be the changemakers. Through this workshop, we have been enabled to see the bigger picture besides gathering the courage to change it too.

I loved the workshop as it helped me in understanding and looking at people from a different but positive perspective It made me realise that the world is one big community, even though each community may have its own pre-existing value system and customs. The training helped the educators to understand a student at a deeper level and motivated us to go beyond the curriculum to make him/her feel included. The second learning was to encourage and bring awareness in the students to conserve energy by taking small steps and small steps taken together can bring considerable change The third learning was to never judge a person through outer appearance or through our preconceived notions.
