The Domestic Exchange Program conducted in collaboration with Pathways World School, Gurugram was an enriching and educational experience for the participating students of Dolphin International School, Pulwama. The primary objectives of the Exchange Program were to promote cultural exchange, interpersonal relationships, foster a global perspective among students, and provide them with an opportunity to experience a different atmosphere which was a contrast to the challenging realities of Kashmir. The atmosphere in Kashmir is such that every child sleeps with extreme uncertainty of waking up with a fear of violence. Children of Pulwama have been breathing in this air for over 20 years; the impact of which manifests in their interactions with themselves and their surroundings.

The 16 participants of Dolphin International School, Pulwama along with their teacher started their journey on 7 August 2023 for the program, which concluded on 13 August 2023. The Exchange Program with Pathways World School was a resounding success.

Aasra Farooq from grade 10: Despite the initial mix of excitement, nervousness & inevitable challenges, everything felt refreshingly different. Iflah Zahoor of grade 10 : The school's warm and welcoming atmosphere encouraged us to step out of our comfort zones and try activities like dancing, singing, and sports. Their hospitality was evident in the personal care they extended for my eye infection.

Alveen Riyaz from grade 9: This exchange program allowed me to interact with people from different countries, share our culture, and receive appreciation for it. The activities were fascinating and diverse, from clay art to printmaking and working in design and tech labs..
