Afsane received her Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and continued her education at Harvard Business School, where she achieved her MBA.
Fourth-Generation Tanzanian
Afsane is a fourth-generation Tanzanian and maintains ties to East Africa in a personal and professional capacity. In 2015, Afsane Jetha co-founded Alta Semper Capital where she is Managing Partner & CEO.
Multi-Lingual
Afsane Jetha is multi-lingual and speaks conversational Gujarati, Swahili, and French.
In 2015, she partnered with Ronald Lauder and Richard Parsons to co-found Alta Semper Capital. The private equity management firm manages funds on behalf of founding shareholders as well as institutions in the U.S. and Europe.

Afsane Jetha has built a rich resume of work with private equity and financial groups including GI Partners, Wasserstein Private Equity, and Merrill Lynch. While working for Permira in London, she was a member of their consumer team.
