ike Sunday Morning Joy on the local radio stations, the Centennial Ecumenical Service was a foot stomping, spirit filled, gospel extravaganza highlighted by the powerful preached word by AME Bishop Vashti, national chaplain of Delta Sigma Theta. Convention Center halls were filled to capacity with the overflow staged at the Verizon Center.

The very popular Arts and Letters Afternoon Tea, sponsored by the Baltimore Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, was the place to be for persons interested in an experience that offered the best gourmet cuisine, excellence in dance performance and stunning fashions. The annual event that brings Leah’s Book Club together for “High Tea” was held at the Forest Park Golf Club Room where enthusiastic members and guests met to converse, compare, discuss and aesthetically immerse themselves in artistic works.
