TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF SERONERA AIRSTRIP
Seronera Airstrip will be closed for maintenance from 8th to 12th February 2025. During this 5-day period, no flights will be permitted.

PRECISION AIR LAUNCHES NEW FLIGHT ROUTE TO IRINGA STARTING MARCH 2025
Precision Air, Tanzania’s premier private airline, is thrilled to announce the introduction of new flight services to Iringa, commencing on March 3, 2025. The airline will operate flights three times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—providing seamless connections between Iringa, Dodoma, Dar es Salaam, and other destinations.
This new route underscores Precision Air’s commitment to enhancing regional connectivity, fostering economic growth, and delivering reliable air transport to communities throughout Tanzania. The addition of Iringa to its network will cut down travel times significantly while offering afford able and convenient air travel options for passengers.
Flight Schedule Overview:
Route: Dar es Salaam → Dodoma → Iringa
Frequency: Three times weekly (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

RESUMPTION OF FLIGHTS AT SERENGETI SOUTH AND LOBO AIRSTRIPS
We are delighted to announce that flights have officially resumed at Serengeti South and Lobo Airstrips in Serengeti National Park.
This follows the successful completion of rehabilitation and upgrades, with approval granted by the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA).
With all seven commercial airstrips in Serengeti now fully operational, we extend our gratitude for your patience during this process.

The safari and beach stay were incredible!
Paul, our driver/guide, was outstanding—knowledgeable, well-connected, and always in the know about animal sightings. We saw 8 cheetahs, 30 rhinos, countless lions (with cubs!), and two leopards—one far off in Nakuru and one up close in Mara. I got some amazing photos!
The camps were fantastic. We loved that the reserves weren’t crowded; January was a perfect time to go.
It was great to see more of Kenya by driving instead of flying between camps, and having the same guide made it even better. Relaxing on the beach with great food and wine was exactly what we needed.
Liesl, you absolutely nailed this trip! I’ve already recommended you to a couple we met flying from Mara to Diani.
We’ll definitely reach out when we plan our trip to Botswana and South Africa, hopefully within the next year or two—no later than January 2027.
