THE RITZ-CARLTON MASAI MARA SAFARI CAMP
Opening August 2025, The Ritz-Carlton Masai Mara Safari Camp will bring the brand’s iconic service and sophisticated design to Sub-Saharan Africa for the first time.
Set in the heart of the Masai Mara National Reserve, this exclusive treetop retreat will sit on a secluded island along the Sand River, near the Tanzanian border—offering panoramic views and a front-row seat to the Great Migration.
The camp will feature 20 luxurious tented suites, including a four-bedroom presidential suite, each with private sunken lounges, plunge pools, and indoor-outdoor showers. Guests can look forward to curated dining across several venues, a stargazing sky deck, boma experiences, and a fine wine cellar.

CHANGE OF LOCATION FOR ROVING BUSHTOPS
We’re pleased to share exciting news from Bushtops: starting 1st June 2025, Roving Bushtops will shift its northern base to a stunning new location just 15 minutes from the Mara River – offering guests exceptional game viewing and a prime spot to witness the Great Migration.
Here’s the updated movement pattern:
December to March: Kusini (Southern Serengeti)
June to October: Northern Serengeti (new location near the Mara River)
This new site offers beautiful vistas, excellent proximity to rhino sightings near Bologna, and remains just 40 minutes by game drive from Serengeti Bushtops – making it even easier for guests to enjoy both camps. A complimentary inter-camp road transfer will be provided.
We would like to inform all our clients well in advance that The Mora Zanzibar | TUI BLUE Bahari Zanzibar will be closing its Garden Pool area for renovation and enhancement during the low season, from April 22nd to May 31st, 2025.

AIRLINK EXPANDS NAIROBI AND LUSAKA ROUTES WITH ADDITIONAL FLIGHTS
Airlink, Southern Africa’s leading airline, is set to expand its Nairobi and Lusaka routes with additional flights starting 30 March 2025.
The Johannesburg–Nairobi route will see the introduction of three weekly night-time return flights, complementing the daily service launched in 2023 when Airlink became the first private airline to enter the route.
Meanwhile, the Johannesburg–Lusaka schedule will increase from 13 to 21 return flights per week, with new morning and afternoon departures added to meet growing demand.
These added frequencies are designed to offer both business and leisure travellers more flexibility and improved connectivity across the region.

Just wanted to let you know that our safari in Kenya was one of the most amazing experiences we've ever had!
First of all, the trip went off without a hitch. There were no problems with luggage or worrying about meeting people at the right time or place. The accommodations were great, the food was good (!!!), and everyone was super friendly.
But the best part was the animals! We saw every kind of animal we were expecting to see with one exception... a rhinoceros. But getting so up-close and personal with the other animals was truly more than I ever imagined. We were blown away by the awesomeness. Our only regret was that we didn't do the safari AFTER the Nile river cruise since it was definitely the highlight of our trip.
