From community service, business entrepreneurs to philanthropists, they are anchors to the Acres Home community. Known for making things right, their entire life has been dedicated towards helping others. Never needing recognition or glamour for doing what is right, but are well known for not walking away from an injustice or community need. Mentors and advisors to the many that have come through their doors, their lifelong creed rests in the following. “If we have helped someone along the way, then we know our living will not be in vain.”

Roy Douglas & Shirley Ann Malonson are being honored for dedicating over three decades of service to the community.
