1 July 2009 marked a new beginning in Singapore’s aviation landscape, when the late Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew restructured the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), and corporatized Changi Airport Group (CAG).

A decade later, Changi Airport embraces its spirit of continuous improvement, striving to always serve its airlines and passengers to the best of its abilities. Opening its doors to the world on 17 April 2019, Jewel Changi Airport is emblematic of CAG’s bold move to ensure that the airport remains a preferred international air hub for both airlines and passengers.
