Spotlight on Kenya
01 Pray that the citywide mission to Fort Portal from September 15 to 24 will be fruitful, seeing many people accepting God as their Savior. The target population is 80,000 people.
02 Pray for the mission vision-casting and training of 150 pastors.
03 The Uganda office needs 300 evangelists for the mission; please pray that God will send the right people to help spread His Word.
04 Pray that funds will be received in time, as it costs $135 to sustain an evangelist for ten days, including transport, accommodation and meals.
05 International World Environment Day: In Isaiah 43 and 66, God promises that our peace will flow like rivers in the desert. Pray that all people will see the world through God’s eyes and correspond with His plan for peace, fullness and beauty as He desired when He created it.
06 Pray for the mobile rallies around the city of Fort Portal and open-air evangelism trucks that have started to make people aware of what is coming.
07 Pray that God will reach the leaders of the city when stratified ministry starts in the next few months, including the political leaders’ dinner, business leaders’ meeting, church leaders’ fellowship and professionals’ meetings.
08 Pray that the radio ministry during the mission period will be fruitful.
09 Pray for the Uganda Team during the city-cleaning period that the example of cleanliness will be set, with a desire in people’s hearts for the Holy Spirit’s cleansing of their souls.
10 We need unity in the Uganda churches. Let us pray for unity to be restored with the help of the AE Uganda team.
11 Pray with AE Uganda to have a concrete partnership with TV owners for ministry, as this is an ongoing process. So far, we have airtime on Family TV, a Church of Uganda-owned television, and negotiations have started with UBC, a government-owned television network.
12 Pray for AE Uganda’s school ministry and the opportunity given to the team in University Chaplaincies to preach the Gospel during lunch hour fellowships.
13 Pray that Christian teachers and students will have the passion to share the Gospel with fellow teachers and students, and also to follow up on the new converts in their schools.
14 Pray that the churches will implement Home-Based Evangelism (HBE) through the home cell approach.
15 Pray that the trained pastors, youth leaders, and evangelists will reproduce themselves by training their successors among other church members and influence them with the message from the Bible.
16 Pray for the effective implementation of the Gospel campaign in the ministry of Education.
17 There is a target of 700,000 people to be reached through mass media, TV, and radio programs. Pray that through the grace of God, the Team will succeed in doing so and that many will tune in for mass media evangelism.
18 Pray that the AE Uganda Team will consolidate and initiate strong partnerships that will carry out the preservation of new believers as they carry out ministry.
19 Pray that the church and youth leaders will ensure that the new believers are integrated into local churches and growing in Christ.
20 Pray that the old and newly trained pastors and evangelists shall be the catalyst of Evangelism and Discipleship in the church in Uganda.
21 Pray that the Safe Resilient Adolescents and Youth (SRAY) project receives the support and funding for a successful project implementation.
22 Pray that there will be much enthusiasm, increased awareness, and engagement in youth groups to join the Community Transformation Groups (CTGs) to develop income-generating activities and employments skills.
23 Pray that after the SRAY project, there is an improved capacity of local leaders to support their congregations to engage in addressing community challenges and support livelihood activities.
24 As a result of the SRAY project, pray that there will be increased access to biblical reproductive healthcare services among the youth.
25 Pray for the CTGs, that the beneficiaries will experience holistic transformation in Spiritual, economic and social aspects.
26 Pray that project beneficiaries for the CTG groups will be willing to change their mindset and eventually become agents of spiritual and economic transformation in the community.
27 Pray for the health and well-being of staff and patients at the Milne Medical Clinic, which provides free support for the local community and focuses on expecting and new mothers.
28 Pray for funding and supporting partners of the Nile Vocational Institute in Jinja and for all the youth enrolled in the training programs.
29 Continue to pray for reconciliation among ethnic groups in Uganda.
30 Pray for the AE Uganda Director, Benson Baguma, and his Team that they will persevere and be effective instruments for Christ.
