Evangelising the Cities of Africa through Word and Deed in Partnership with the Church
Spotlight on Malawi
01 Pray for AE Malawi Director, Cornelius Huwa, and his dedicated Team, that God will give them strength to spread the Word and protection from evil.
02 Pray that God will give wisdom in the formation of various mission committees for the mission’s success.
03 Pray with us for the churches’ involved spirit of ownership and commitment towards the mission.
04 Pray for the church’s love and passion towards the lost souls that need to hear the Gospel.
05 Pray for the local churches to be able to mobilise their church members for training as missioners.
06 Pray for the Holy Spirit to equip the missioners with various gifts like counselling, teaching and evangelism capabilities.
07 Pray for the availability of resources for the training to be conducted by the local missioners.
08 Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide in the selection of dedicated individuals to be equipped with preservation skills in their respective churches in which they will facilitate the new converts.
09 Pray for resource availability towards the work of equipping the Preservation Facilitators.
10 Pray for strength and Spiritual anointing upon the trainers of the Facilitators.
11 Pray for the identified small groups to meet regularly to share experiences and challenges.
12 Pray for the willingness and dedication of the Preservation Facilitators.
13 Pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to minister through these churches as they reach out to the communities.
14 Pray against the opposing spirits that harden the people’s hearts from accepting the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 Pray for the transformative prayer meetings with leaders of various private and public institutions during proclamation week.
16 Pray for greater harvests of souls by the end of the proclamation week.
17 Pray for protection from spiritual attacks upon the missioners during that period.
18 Pray for the Holy Spirit to strengthen those who will give their lives to Christ Jesus as their Saviour and Lord to strengthen or encourage their faith.
19 Pray that the churches have the zeal and urgency to nurture the new believers in Christ Jesus.
20 Praise God for the supporters who contribute their wealth towards the “Woman Empowerment Sewing Skills Training Program” in Malawi. We are truly thankful for how this program transforms the lives of women.
21 Praise God for women who had undergone the tailoring training and are now running their tailoring businesses, which are helping them to provide for their familes.
22 Pray for resources to be available for the empowering of vulnerable women through learning sewing skills.
23 Pray that the women will contribute to their respective communities’ development through charitable works, e.g., helping orphans and other needy persons.
24 Pray for the instructor of the tailoring school as he trains vulnerable women in sewing skills.
25 Pray that Malawi be spared from further disastrous floodingevents which will lead to worsening food insecurity and inflated cost of living.
26 Pray for the successful establishment of two new Community Transformation Groups (CTGs).
27 Pray for the pilot churches to put into practice what they have learned to meet their social, economic and spiritual needs.
28 Pray for successful health activities to be implemented at the AE office targeting its staff and community in terms of physical check-ups, mental health, and disease outbreak responses.
29 Pray for the impactful ongoing training for the 2023 Foxfires youth before they are sent out to carry out evangelism.
30 Pray for God to open doors for Foxfire outreaches.
31 Pray for the families of all the AE Malawi staff: education for kids, good health and godly relationships.
