You are shining the light of the Gospel in Africa, helping people like Robert to overcome spiritual darkness!
Bringing Christ’s light to dark places — thanks to YOU!
Your partnership is helping to bring new light and new life to many across the African continent.

During a mission outreach in Kumasi, Ghana, one of our evangelism teams met a young man named Robert.

As the team approached Robert, eager to share a message of hope, he became a bit hostile. He turned away, not wanting to hear what they had to say.

Hostility gives way to curiosity

Despite Robert’s resistance, the team didn’t give up on him.

Throughout the week as their paths continued to cross, the team kept trying to engage Robert in conversation, hoping to reach him with their message of love and forgiveness. Read

Robert’s story

One day, the evangelism team noticed something strange about Robert. He was always fiddling with a ring on his finger as if it bothered him. When they asked about it, he hesitated at first but eventually confessed.

Robert had gotten the ring from a witch doctor, hoping it would help him find love. But instead, it brought him nothing but trouble and regret.

This opened the door for the team to tell him about Jesus, whose power is greater than anything else.

The peace and hope you offer — through Jesus

Robert listened, and something inside him began to change.

Moved by their words, Robert decided to give his life to Jesus. As a symbol of his new faith, he took off the ring and handed it to the team.

In that moment, it felt like a weight had been lifted off Robert’s shoulders. The darkness that had clouded his heart was replaced by a sense of peace and hope.

Robert is just one of many Africans who have been rescued from spiritual darkness by the Gospel you share through your financial partnership.

This is just one of hundreds of stories demonstrating the impact you make through African Enterprise and its ministry partnership with churches in cities across Africa. Thank you!

compassion throughout Africa, glorifying our and equip us for the task of sharing His Good News!

The light YOU shine…

Scripture often references the concept of light, depicting Jesus as the “true light” of the world (John 1:9), Christians as “children of the light” (1 Thessalonians 5:5) and the Church as the “kingdom of light” (Colossians 1:12).

Given the centrality of light in our faith journey — walking in it, embracing it and sharing it — it’s no wonder that we’re urged in 1 Peter 2:9 to “declare the praises of him who called [us] out of darkness into his wonderful light.”

It’s truly a divine opportunity to heed God’s call to radiate His transformative light into some of the most shadowed corners of the world, particularly in African communities where suffering and despair reign.

Your generous financial support fuels a range of ministries: evangelism, discipleship, mentoring and equipping in biblical leadership and peacemaking principles.

Our mission remains steadfast: to shine the light of Jesus into the depths of Africa, aiming to uplift people, communities and nations in His name.

We deeply appreciate you joining us in this mission. Your prayers and partnership continue to illuminate the path ahead, reflecting God’s radiant light upon all we strive to accomplish.

Eternity is at stake in Africa!

The Bible says the light of the Christ — the Good News — will ALWAYS overcome the hopelessness of spiritual darkness.

Your gift today will bring that light — and with it, eternal salvation — to someone in Africa like Robert through ministries like the Kumasi, Ghana mission. (You can read his story on the cover of this newsletter.)

Here’s your chance to share God’s peace and love with those who are:

■ Spiritually starved

■ Broken by hopelessness, poverty or despair

■ Held captive by witchcraft or superstition, so common in Africa
