OFFICIAL LOGO + PROMOTIONAL GRAPHIC: PROMOTIONAL MARK
STRUCTURE AND USAGE GUIDE
from brand.fiu.edu
Promotional Graphic
Units have the option to create a promotional graphic to represent a specific initiative, program or event within their unit. This promotional graphic should not be used to replace a unit logo and should not include any FIU logos or elements of the FIU logo in it.
When representing the university to external audiences, the unit logos must be included as the primary identity; the promotional graphic should be the secondary identity. The objective is to clearly convey that this initiative, program or event is part of FIU.

official logo structure

Note: For proper context, make sure to mention the full name of Florida International University and/or main unit as part of the copy, layout and design.
We’ve developed a robust brand system that expands and contracts to serve the needs of the brand. The logo system consists of a preferred horizontal lockup, an FIU logo, a standard vertical configuration and a unit/ school logo for different departments.
The logo is composed of three parts:
1. FIU Lockup
2. Rule Line
3. Full Name
protected space components

SIZE AND SPACING RULES
The width of the golden stroke and the vertical rule are equal in weight.
The margins around the rule are determined by the height of the inner stem of the “F.”
The protected space around the FIU logo is defined by the width of the full letter “F” of the FIU Acronym. No other elements are allowed within the protected space.
promotional graphic
This logo presents a human-centered vision of interdisciplinary collaboration in cardiovascular health. Together, these elements create a cohesive image of collaboration—where health and biomedical engineering work in harmony to support, innovate, and improve cardiovascular outcomes.

While this graphic symbolizes the Center for Innovation in Cardiovascular Health, it does not serve as a replacement for the official center logo.
promotional lock-up mark
The promotional graphic, when used alongside the official unit logo, should always be positioned outside the protected area of the official logo. While the exact placement and/or size of the promotional graphic may vary depending on the layout and application, we offer a recommended lock-up for your convenience.
