Greetings My Brothers of the Eastern Province of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.,
It is with profound admiration, deep respect, and a full heart that I extend my sincerest congratulations to the Eastern Province—The Flagship—on the historic occasion of our centennial anniversary. Reaching one hundred years is no small feat; it is the mark of an unwavering commitment to the ideals of Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor and an unshakable dedication to leadership, service, and brotherhood.
Being The Flagship is more than just a title—it is a responsibility, a call to excellence, and a reflection of the province’s pioneering spirit. In naval tradition, a flagship is the lead vessel, setting the course for others to follow. For a century, the Eastern Province has carried this mantle with distinction, steering Kappa Alpha Psi forward with vision and purpose. From Maryland to Virginia, to Washington D.C., and extending overseas to Bermuda, the Eastern Province has not only shaped leaders within our Province but has also left an indelible mark on the communities it serves. Our scholarship programs and mentorship initiatives through Guide Right have opened doors for countless young minds, our nurturing to our undergraduates have cultivating bright future leaders, our work with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and March of Dimes demonstrating an unmatched commitment to health and wellness, and our unwavering commitment to service has transformed lives all over our nation. You have stood at the forefront of social justice, economic empowerment, and community advancement—demonstrating what it truly means to be The Flagship.
As we celebrate this historic milestone, take pride in the foundation laid by those who came before, honor the work being done today, and embrace the limitless possibilities of the future; may the Eastern Province continue to sail boldly into the next century, ever committed to the mission of Kappa Alpha Psi and the betterment of our communities.
Congratulations, Brothers, on a century of Excellence, Leadership, and Achievement. Your legacy is profound, your impact undeniable, and your future brighter than ever.
Yours in the Bond,

Dear Delegate:
On behalf of the 30th Eastern Province Administration, it is my supreme pleasure to extend a cordial welcome to those assembled here in Rockville, Maryland, for the Flagship Province’s observance of its centennial anniversary. This locale is designated as one of America’s leading small cities for work, play, and living. Let us look forward to a productive conference while we are gathered in the Chesapeake Bay State. We proudly salute the Province Planning Committee (PPC) and the host chapters for their diligence in going the extra mile to ensure the total success of our milestone year. This city’s inimitable ambience and the convention center’s amenities will help to ensure that we experience yet another fruitful gathering of our noble clan.
Our continuing desire is to be a contributor to the growth and development of the locality wherever we meet. Kappa Alpha Psi’s charitable giving and spirit of volunteerism reflect our brotherhood’s values and our commitment to the communities we faithfully serve. I especially commend the chapters both graduate and undergraduate for their participation in fraternitysponsored events and for our brothers’ sharing freely of their time, talents, and resources. One can discern from a review of our chronicles that we believe in investing in the regions that enable us to demonstrate our passion and commitment for community engagement. Is there any wonder that we take pride in helping Kappa Alpha Psi excel? We are deeply appreciative of all that our members do individually and collectively to advance our beloved fraternity’s forward momentum.
