This roadmap builds on the 2017 GPFI Policy Paper on the Financial Inclusion of Forcibly Displaced Persons (FDPs) – Priorities for G20 Action and provides key policy recommendations for stakeholders working on financial inclusion for FDPs: governments (particularly financial regulators and supervisors), private sector, humanitarian and development agencies, research organizations, and Standard Setting Bodies. It focuses on six interconnected areas identified through a study on the main barriers to sustainable and responsible financial inclusion of FDPs: national strategies and regulation; resiliency of financial infrastructure; customer identification; financial consumer and data protection; bridging humanitarian aid and development; and economic participation.
