Flock Camera System Thursday, July 14 6:30 pm 10300 Lake Bluff Drive, 63123 The Affton Southwest Precinct will be hosting a meeting for the Flock Camera System. Flock has offered to have a representative come out to explain their camera system to area Homeowners Associations, Neighborhood Watch Coordinators and businesses. The St. Louis County Police Department does not formally endorse this company, however we do recognize this product as one effective tool in addition to our crime prevention strategies. This department is currently using the Flock camera system in cooperation with Municipalities, Homeowners Associations and businesses to actively investigate and prosecute crimes. This will NOT be a Town Hall meeting to discuss issues, rather a demonstration solely on the Flock camera system by a Flock representative. Therefore, due to space restrictions we ask that only Neighborhood Watch Coordinators, Homeowners Association Stakeholders and/or Business owners/ representatives register. Affton-Lemay Chamber of Commerce Trivia Heine Meine was named after a professional baseball player, Henry William “Heine” Meine. Actor John Goodman graduated from Affton High School in 1970. River City Casino opened in 2010. The iconic “ice cream cone” statue that is in the front of Affton’s elementary school originated from the Velvet Freeze located at Gravois & Weber. The former Lemay Chamber of Commerce office was in the old county courthouse. At the April General Membership Meeting, attendees played a trivia game to test their Affton & Lemay knowledge. More trivia will be in future issues.
