Speaker: Caroline Markel Hammond, Safe in Harm's Way Caroline leads her team at Safe in Harm's Way to help survivors thrive as they navigate their path to and through a life free from domestic abuse. She also helps train employers to identify and support employees seeking shelter in their workspace from an unsafe personal life. Growing from an idea and a dream fueled by her own personal story, Caroline has grown the Safe In Harm's Way effort to an international collaborative effort providing service to survivors in all walks of life...making sure that none walk alone. The 2020 Boston Scientific Global Volunteer Award winner, Caroline has spent 30 years as a results-driven Sales and Training Professional promoting billion-dollar brands for Fortune 500 companies; thriving within sales, human resources, training and development. Caroline serves as the Founder and CEO of Safe In Harm’s Way; built by abuse survivors for survivors. Safe In Harm’s Way is an online bridge for survivors, giving a voice to the truth and connecting resources to leave perpetrators, plus thrive in the “after.”
