OVERVIEW
The Universal American School - Cairo (UASC) is set to open in 2025 as a premier non-profit, co-educational, college preparatory institution. Offering the American curriculum through the New York State Standards (NYSS) and accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, UASC has also be authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization to offer the IB Diploma Program.
A LEGACY OF SUCCESS:
The Universal American School - Cairo (UASC) is modeled on the great success of its sister school, Universal American School in Dubai. Rated ‘Very Good’ by Dubai’s education regulatory authority, UAS Dubai is governed as a not-for-profit by the Al-Futtaim Education Foundation.
This structure ensures that any surplus revenues generated by school fees are reinvested back into the school to support various facets such as the scholarship program, facilities upgrades, technology enhancements, and further school development. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and visionary leader to become the Founding Principal of Universal American School - Cairo. You will be at the forefront of establishing and nurturing a worldclass educational institution, ensuring that our students receive a top-tier education that fosters intellectual curiosity, moral character, and global citizenship.
The ideal candidate will bring:
• Proven experience in educational leadership with a track record of success in international or MENA region schools.
• Strong strategic vision and the ability to implement it effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive and dynamic learning environment.
• The ability to inspire and motivate both students and staff to achieve excellence.
