What Is ISOBUS?
What Does This Mean?
ISOBUS is an international standardised communication protocol that allows different agricultural equipment to communicate through a common language.
The ISOBUS control system allows the operator to connect and control different implements using the same tractor, Virtual Terminal (VT) screen for all applications.

The explorer joystick allows management of all spraying and hydraulic functions directly from the handle.
Either 5 or 7 direct section switches, or a sequential switch box allows the user to command up to 13 boom sections using only two switches, one for the right side and one for the left side.

Arag ISOBUS makes BRS easy! The BRS allows the boom to be plumbed in a single boom line recirculation configuration. This that means when the master switch (dump valve) is switched in the OFF position, the flow continues to travel through the boom and back to the tank. The BRS prevents heavy particles from settling in the boom line by allowing the full flow of the pump being returned to tank when not spraying, helping to prevent possible contamination.

BRS also helps keep the chemicals agitated and the boom primed for the recommencement of spraying in the current field or the beginning of a spray job in a new field.

What Is 3TS? A Three Tier System (3TS) provides three different nozzle configurations using a combination of nozzles, giving the operator more versatility while spraying. The below example uses 01 & 015 nozzles @ 70 l/ha.

As acceleration starts 01 nozzles activate and operate from 8 to 12 kph.
As acceleration increases 01 nozzles turn OFF at approx 12 kph, 015 nozzles turn ON and spray up to 15 kph.
As acceleration increases from 15 to 25kph, 01 + 015 nozzles will be spraying (01+015=025) giving 3 Tier Spraying).

What is SeleTRON SeleTRON is an electronic actuating shut-off nozzle valve that turns each nozzle on the boom into a section. This allows individual control of every nozzle.

What is SeleJET? SeleJET is an air operated shut off nozzle valve for each nozzle in sections. The SeleJET can also be run as a 3 Tier System (max of 12 sections with 2 end boom nozzles). BRS is also available for this system.

Valves The ISOBUS Valve System is a conventional sprayer setup using Arag electric motor valves to control the sections. This system can be ordered as single tier or dual line (3TS). Note: Both options are BRS compatible.

Orchard Controller The ISOBUS Orchard control unit, allows you to have all the functions of a modern orchard sprayer whilst utilising the advantages of ISOBUS technology. •
