We brought our guests out to Lake Atitlán which is considered to be one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. It sits almost 5,000 feet above sea level and is surrounded by multiple volcanoes. We love this area for its sights, craft markets, and kind people. It was so special to be here with some of our wedding guests.
High up in the Sierra Madre Mountain range, lies the private nature reserve, Molino Helvetia. Despite not being too far from Lake Atitlán and Antigua, you feel worlds away. The weather is much cooler here and the land is filled with dense trees.
We brought some of our guests to this family run historic flour mill for lawn games, rum, and exploring.
On the following day, March 23, a pool party extravaganza unfolded at our villa nestled in the hills above the town. The scene was nothing short of cinematic, with local dogs running around, everyone basking in the sun, tequila flowing, and swimming in the infinity pool that overlooked Playa Sayulita.
They say you should take it easy the night before your wedding. We did not get that memo. We brought everyone together the night before and had an absolute blast. There were fireworks, an obligatory conga line, bongos, drinks and lots of dancing.

We all laughed, cried, danced, and most of all, loved. It was an evening full of happiness and better than we ever could have expected.
