You don’t believe me when I say this, but I fell in love with you that first night we met. I thought it was only in the movies and I didn’t think it could happen in real life. But yet, it happened that night. It was like something was pulling me to go talk to you and figure out who you were. I just knew there was something special about you, and the future proved it right. There is nothing <fake= about you, you shine happiness, you are beautiful, kind, and bring so much joy to the people around you. Those are rare qualities on their own but combine them all and you get someone truly exceptional. From the day we got together the love kept growing. You don’t know that kind of love until you experience it. It keeps growing beyond what I thought was possible, in the hardship and in the many, many moments of joy. It's like the universe, infinite but yet in constant expansion.
I love how you look at the world and that every detail of nature is fascinating to you. You see the beauty that most people (including myself) would walk by without noticing. See those tiny animal footprints in the snow? That’s COOL. A fall leaf that has the perfect red color, WOW AMAZING. The way a sunset illuminates the mountain peaks, that just BLOWS YOUR MIND!
It makes me smile when we are on bike rides that we’ve done a hundred times but you still take photos of everything cool that we see along the way. It’s like you are seeing those things for the first time all over again. And I love to see that you keep that excitement going. Even if sometimes we really have to finish our ride because the clock is ticking, and I know you’ll soon get hungry... So... Thank you for teaching me your way to look at the world. You are my anchor to a life in the present, and for appreciating the little things around us.
I also admire your love and compassion for the people around you. You are loving and don’t shy from showing it with caring attention. I remember asking you a couple years ago what your definition of a successful life is. And I was expecting something along the lines of wanting to be a famous artist, live in an Architectural Digest featured house, and drive a G-Wagon. But instead you just said that you wanted to be a great human and be good to the people around you. You think about others before yourself, and give without expecting to receive. I admire that and you are my example of how to be a great person.
Even dogs are all treated with love and compassion. There is no discrimination: the pups, the old ones, the 3 legged dogs, the mean ones that bark at me, and even the slightly repulsive ones that look like a mop. They all get a nice belly rub.
Finally, I’m excited about the journey together. It’s about growing up and going through life together. Grow as people, as a team, and eventually with our own family. You bring colors to life, and the last 5yrs by your side have been my happiest. Waking up to you smiling is one of my favorite things. I can’t believe someone always wakes up that way, and I love that about you. Now buckle up for many more years of wrestling, goofiness, chasing each other skiing, getting lost on trails, not packing enough food for bike rides, running late to every party, scaring you in the dark, messed up cappuccinos, burnt egg sandwiches... and the list goes on.
I love you Blake, and I love doing life with you. I still pinch myself that you chose me to share a life together and I promise to always be here for you. I am your biggest fan.
I love you like crazy mon amour.

OH my Frenchie…
Wow this is incredible… Getting married on a mountain top in ski clothes. As you know this is my ultimate dream come true. I will forever be blown away by this day and this entire weekend.
Thinking back, a lot of our highest of highs have involved mountains. Our first <I love you= on top of Mount Timpanogos. Our greatest powder ski day in Niseko. Our proposal at the top of Guardmen’s. The coolest hike of our lives in Lofoten, Norway. And now a wedding on the top of Serre Chevalier…
There’s something about mountains that bring us the greatest memories. We were born 5,392 miles away from each other, yet had such similar upbringings in small mountain towns that we seemed to have immediately bonded… There could be something about being born and raised at high elevation or maybe it’s the shared lifestyle. But I think it’s deeper… I think mountains define us and our relationship. They suit our energy, goals and values as well as our passions. You and I are both thrill-seekers and nature-lovers, we don’t sit still and we don’t like to be bored. We love the grind it takes to get to the peak (especially if snacks are involved) but we can also relax and take in the valleys. Just as we don’t know what to do with flat land we also wouldn’t know what to do with a flat relationship.
There’s rarely a day together that goes by without skiing or hiking or biking. Being able to do fun things with your partner is the greatest gift of all. We learned this first hand from both of our incredible parents. They taught us the importance of shared passions and time together outside. They made life in the mountains work and raised us to do the same. It is so unbelievably cool to ALL have that in common. Thanks to the four of you, we both found skiing, our favorite passion of all and that has brought us all over the world. Even though our sports were so different, it is ultimately what brought you to Utah and eventually you to me. I didn’t even have to go searching… There was a sexy French nordic skier right in my hometown! How lucky am I?!
Our types of skiing define us so much… I am freestyler at everything that I do - I am unstructured, creative and free-spirited. You are stead-fast, passionate and endlessly driven. Your sport is one of the hardest in the world… (at least for me…) The drive you have to have to push yourself mile after mile is incredible and yet you do this in every aspect of your life. In work, in play and in loving me. You pour yourself into all that you do and make the smallest moments so wildly special. That’s the thing I love most about you. You take a fly-by moment and make it stand out so, so much. You can make brushing your teeth a full performance or taking out the trash a competition or game. We can never just eat tomatoes or popcorn or M&Ms… They have to be thrown in the air and caught in your mouth… It’s 100% fun.. almost all of the time.
Being with you is the ultimate peak Noé Bellet. I am eternally lucky that mountains brought us together and I cannot wait to see where they will bring us next…

Blake and Noé
In the Heart of the Mountains
She is my cradle, She nurtures me, Her slopes fill me with heady excitement Towards her summits I am drawn I am a bird, that speck on the horizon, One flap of my wings carries me far.
My eyes follow the ricochet outline of the peaks I feel I am on the roof of the world, But humbled before such majesty, I can only bow down in awe.
Between the curves of the path we take, ancestral waters of Lakes shelter in hollows
And ripple with our first Kisses, love nurtured in the contemplation of the vast Expanse, where finally form and relief are perfectly revealed.
And between heavens and hilltop, light reveals its Nuances, your Destiny becomes mine, and mine becomes yours.
Now let us dance on the summit, giddy in our togetherness, but also accompanied by those who surround us, Offering each other and offering to them the gift of this moment in Eternity. Let’s embrace on this mountain’s heights, which are witness to our birth.

Kiss me
Étendue où le regard permet au relief le savant découpage
Entre ciel et cimes, la lumière joue ses nuances
Ta voie devient mienne, ma voie devient tienne
