Full IB Diploma

Institute for Design and Innovation (IDI)
The Institute for Design and Innovation (IDI) empowers students to become agents of change through project-based and experiential learning emphasizing 21st-century skills. Students take a core sequence of IDI English and IDI Social Studies, and can enroll in IB and AES courses across other subject areas. In addition, students can earn university credit through the University of Delaware’s Horn Entrepreneurship program and Syracuse University. They also compete in the University of Delaware Diamond Challenge.
AES High School Classes
Students in grades 11 and 12 may pursue, along with IDI and IB courses, US high school classes in English, Social Studies, Math, Additional Language, the Natural Sciences, and a wide range of elective subjects.
AES American High School Diploma
AES offers a rigorous American college preparatory curriculum throughout grades 9 and 10 that culminates with the option to do the full IB Diploma, the IDI Diploma, or a combination of classes that best suits the learner’s needs. All students who graduate from AES earn a U.S.-accredited high school diploma regardless of the curriculum they pursue. The high school program includes opportunities for internships, service learning, and online options through Pamoja and Virtual High School. A full list of courses is available on our website.
