THEME SONG
O How I Love Jesus
1 There is a name I love to hear, I love to sing its worth; it sounds like music in my ear, the sweetest name on earth.
Refrain:
O how I love Jesus, O how I love Jesus, O how I love Jesus, because he first loved me!
2 It tells me of a Savior's love, who died to set me free; it tells me of his precious blood, the sinner's perfect plea. [Refrain]
3 It tells of one whose loving heart can feel my deepest woe; who in each sorrow bears a part that none can bear below. [Refrain]

Julio Cesar Fuentes Hernandez, has a beautiful wife and three wonderful children. I feel happy and blessed for all that my Savior has given me and done for me.
My vocation to ministry began from the very beginning when my Savior rescued me at the age of 15. My surrender to Him has always been sincere and complete. So, from the very beginning of my conversion, I have been moved by a commitment to evangelism, church service, and the salvation of others. When I joined the church, I joined Bible study groups and small groups, so within a few months I was teaching Bible studies and leading small groups myself. I was also a Sabbath school teacher, youth director, Sabbath school secretary, assistant youth director in my zone, and a preacher in my church. All of this, coupled with my love for my Savior and answered prayers, convinced me to dedicate my life completely to the Lord and serve Him in ministry.
At the age of 17, I took on the challenge of studying and preparing to be a pastor at the University of Montemorelos, Mexico. Coming from a poor, non-Christian family, graduating from college would be a way for God to show me that I was on the right path for my life. During the years of study there were many miracles that I was able to experience, and every year God confirmed my call to pastoral ministry. While I was in college I worked and studied and in all my summer and winter vacations I participated in canvassing.
In 2015, when I graduated as a pastor, God led me, along with my wife, to come to the United States. It was here, where God reconfirmed His plans for me and my family, giving me the joy of beginning my ministry at our beloved Allegheny East conference. It was in Jersey City, New Jersey that I started planting a new church where there was not yet a Hispanic church in our conference. The church was called "Jehovah Jireh," trusting that God would provide everything for the church. I remember starting to plant this new church with 6 members. From 2015 to 2021, by God's grace, the church grew in love, unity, knowledge of God's word, and membership, reaching about 50 people. In those 6 years the church became financially sound with a fund of almost $100,000.00 (one hundred thousand) dollars. Glory to God!
In December 2021, I was moved to Third Angel Church in Fredericksburg, Virginia. In this short time that I have been here, 6 new people have been baptized and are part of the church. Likewise, financial growth can be noticed, but above all love, unity and commitment to Jesus. We continue to work for the Lord. So far, I can safely say that the Lord has been with us. I feel happy to be able to serve my Savior, I constantly see His love for me showing me the way I should go

A native of Philadelphia, he attended the Ebenezer Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Larchwood SDA School, where he began to feel the hand of the Lord leading him to ministry. At a young age, William developed a joy for teaching the word of God. To help refine this skill, he obtained a BA in Theology from Oakwood University and acquired his Master of Divinity from Andrews University Seminary.
For close to three years, William served as the assistant Pastor of the Dupont Park Seventh-day Adventist Church in Washington, DC, under the leadership of Dr. Marcus E. Harris. There he planned and conducted several youth revivals; taught children’s baptismal classes; served as chaplain of the Dupont Park Adventist School; and assisted community services in their impact on the community.
Following, ministry at Washington, DC, William was voted by the Executive Committee of the Allegheny East Conference to continue his ministry in Trenton, NJ at the Mount Sinai Church, where he has faithfully served since September of 2023.
William is a son, a brother, an uncle, and a friend. In his personal time, he reads, plays basketball, loves football, enjoys music, and being in nature. He is a devotee to the Philadelphia Eagles Football Team and loves a good conversation ranging from movies and sports to religion and current events.
