WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2026
PROHIBITED DEVICES
On Polling Day, the use of all communication devices, such as smart phones, smart watches and smart pens, is prohibited in the Polling Station.
Communication devices and all other personal effects must be left at the desk before proceeding to the Polling Booth. After casting the ballot, voters must retrieve all personal effects on the way out.
In order for the Presiding Officer to ensure that voters are not using any communication or electronic devices, the polling booth will be positioned so each voter will enter the booth, with his or her back to the Presiding Officer.
Voters are assured that there will be privacy, so that the secrecy of the vote will be maintained.
