Counterattack on cancer

Merriman Park Elementary students will collect spare change as part of the Pasta for Pennies campaign, a fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Beth Lyons (far left), a MPE teacher, was diagnosed with leukemia last May. Second grader Hannah English (alongside Lyons) was diagnosed in the fall.
