Hello and welcome to our Christmas Issue.

What a year! I’m looking forward to a great 2021. Most of all I’m looking forward to seeing you all in person and not just on Zoom.

As well as news we have a Christmas quiz and some word searches for you to do.

See page 4 for information about a one to one advocacy project supported by Susie.

In January we will send out Zoom invites for members meetings.

Keep in Touch The Keep in Touch project is a way of keeping members connected and not be alone like they have been the past few months.

Members are also going to gain IT skills such as how to use zoom.

Members are very excited about the project.

Members are looking forward to seeing everyone again after such a long time.

At the first meeting we played a dice game.

We asked questions about Christmas and what we like best.

Members shared their news and we asked everyone to think about what Croydon People First members would like to do next year, in 2021.

I always enjoy the newsletter. I wish everything could be so easy to read and short.

It’s good to be part of a disabled group that others take notice of

It’s great to hear people speak up and have an opinion

I think the best thing about Croydon People First is that members can give advice to and get advice from people who are in a similar situation.

I enjoy being part of Croydon People First; it’s given me a voice and independence.
