AFTER being a pillar of parliament in the community for 20 years, Federal Member for Murray, Dr Sharman Stone has announced she will be retiring from parliament at the next election, leaving the seat open to be contested. During her time in the seat, Dr Stone helped SPC Ardmona secure a $25M assistance package to help the prominent business continue operations and saw the introduction of bulk billing.
