By David Lee BEING together and sharing the Christmas spirit with others is what the festive season is all about and the 14th annual free Christmas For Those Alone lunch offers the community just that, but this year the luncheon will be held at its new location, the McIntosh Centre at the Shepparton Showgrounds. Beginning in 2000 with just 54 people attending the Senior Citizen’s Hall, the luncheon’s popularity has grown and now more than 300 people frequent the event that brings those in the community together who would otherwise spend Christmas alone. Those who attend will be treated to a two course, chef made meal, can enjoy a raffle and live music in an atmosphere that provides a sense of camaraderie. Continued on page 10
