New look Coles central Shepparton opens Refreshed shopping experience for locals, plus 20 new jobs COLES will offer Shepparton residents a bigger and better range of grocery products when it officially opens its new look supermarket today. Coles Shepparton store manager, Joe Tedesco, said he was looking forward to welcoming locals into the updated store, which has introduced more than 600 new products across the store. “I am very confident that shoppers will enjoy our beautiful, refreshed store and will be very happy with the extended range of products on offer. I’ll be encouraging shoppers to try the products from around the Goulburn Valley, as well as our new range of international foods” he said. “I’m sure Shepparton shoppers will love the new store features and improved departments. We always listen to our customers and try to make every effort possible to provide an easier and more enjoyable shopping experience”, Joe said. The opening of the new look store has created 20 new jobs, with over 130 team members now working across the store. The store layout has been carefully considered with grocery aisles
being swapped to run north to south. The new fruit and vegetable department features some produce displayed on ice, maintaining freshness for longer. As part of Coles’ Australia-first sourcing policy across Victoria, 96 percent of the fresh fruit and vegetables on offer at Coles Shepparton are Australian grown, 100 percent of Coles fresh meat is Australian and over 90 percent of Coles Brand food and drink products are Australian made. A gourmet delicatessen, complete with olive bar and fresh cheese selection, will provide shoppers with a range of new products to sample. Customers can also select from a wide range of pre-packaged deli meats, dips and antipasto products from the ‘deli-on-the-go’ cabinet. Shoppers can also still find great affordable fashion pieces in-store, with the Coles MIX Apparel range transitioned to a more permanent location within the supermarket. The store refurbishment comes on top of the major improvements to the Vaughan street parking completed late last year, providing

over 160 car spaces and protective shade sails. The new look Coles Shepparton store is located on the corner of Maude & Vaughan Streets in Shepparton and is open 7am to 11pm seven days a week.
