An enchanting school holidays THE girls from the Enchanted Rainbow are back at Riverside Plaza these school holidays with some fantastic free school holiday activities for families to enjoy.

“There will be a miniature train display for the engineering minded members of the family, featuring Diamond Valley Miniature Trains as well as lots of sideshows, the popular return of the Goulburn Valley Wood Turners, food stalls and local school fundraising BBQs. “We will also welcome back the Children’s Musical Farm which was a huge hit last year, so kids can come along and enjoy playing all sorts of musical instruments, it’s very interactive.

“All in all there will be lots of things happening throughout the two days and everywhere you look there will be something to interest every member of the family.”

‘Game On’ THE Shepparton Sports Stadium, in conjunction with Premier Soccer, are running the popular ‘Game On’ school holiday program. This fun filled program offers a variety of different sports and activities to primary school aged children (5-12).

Shepparton Art Museum CURRENT EXHIBITION ‘Kate Murphy – Probable Portraits’ Date: Friday, September 13 to Sunday, November 24 Time: 10am to 4pm daily Kate Murphy: Probable Portraits is the largest display of video art ever presented at SAM. The exhibition includes a series of video portraits exploring the lives of every-day Australians, including the artist’s mother and siblings, a Greek-Australian migrant family, primary school children, and an aspiring child pop-singer living in the UK. Six video installations utilising stateof-the-art video projections, monitors and surround sound technology fill the two downstairs exhibition spaces.
