Schools align for better future By David Lee BUILDING a stronger economy by aligning local schools, their students and teachers with economic benefits of the region is the goal of four local high schools, through a new, and first of its kind, collaborative program, the Better Together Alliance. The alliance will see Shepparton High School, McGuire College and Mooroopna and Wanganui Park Secondary Colleges each take a target area of the economy and share information and contacts gathered. The alliance is designed to give students a better chance to learn skill sets needed to take pathways on offer at local businesses and organisations.
