Issue 01 Oct-Dec 2026 For Travel Advisors

One Journey. Two Worlds. A Lifetime of Memories. Luxury is measured in moments: the scent of the bushveld after summer rain, the intimacy of Little Bush Camp, family time at Bush Lodge, a private pool at Earth Lodge or the classic safari era of Selati Camp. At Sandringham Private Game Reserve, renewal has shaped a new safari story along the Timbavati River, from N’weti and Shisaka Camps to exclusive-use Sandringham House, where safari explores the many interconnected elements of the bush. The Claremont opens onto Cape Town, Table Mountain National Park and the Constantia Wine Valley. Together, Sabi Sabi Collection offers South Africa in all its richness. Discover the Sabi Sabi Collection with Adventure World and speak to your travel advisor to plan your South African experience.

A Note From Elsa McLean

Head of Sales, Adventure World

In our conversations with advisors, we often hear that clients want a journey that feels right for them, not simply another place to tick off. That is the thinking behind this first issue of The Quarterly Collection. Each quarter, we will share fresh ideas, timely opportunities and practical ways our team can support the conversations you are already having. Your knowledge of your clients and our destination expertise work best together. You understand the journeys they have loved, what they are ready to try next and the details that will make a trip work for them. We can bring product options and local knowledge to that brief, helping you shape a journey around what matters most. This issue is designed to be useful at different points in the sales conversation. You might find a reason

to reconnect with a client, a new perspective on a familiar destination or an idea for extending a journey. Please tell us what you find useful and share the questions and insights you are hearing from your clients. Your feedback will help us shape future issues that are worth bringing to you. Ciao for now,

When a client has travelled widely

When several people are travelling together

The opportunity:

The opportunity:

Well-travelled clients often know what they enjoy, even if they are unsure where to go next. What you know about their previous journeys can help us find a fresh angle: a different pace, season or way to experience a place they already love. Sometimes the most revealing detail is what they wish they had spent more time doing.

The best shared journeys make room for different interests as well as time together. Your understanding of the group helps us shape the route, stays and daily pace around what matters to each traveller. A shared highlight can anchor the trip, with room for people to follow their own interests along the way.

Sales & Market Insights 1 Find the flexibility

Lead with the client’s nonnegotiables, then tell us where there is flexibility. A shift of a day or two, a different lodge or a change in travel order can open up a stronger journey when space is tight.

2 Compare where time is spent

When two journeys look similar on paper, compare where the time is spent. An extra night in a key location or a well-placed private guide can change the experience more than a longer list of stops alone.

3 Know what needs a decision

Before presenting an option, ask us what is pending and what needs a quick decision. We can also suggest an alternative if their preferred stay is unavailable, so your client sees a way forward.

“

I always encourage travellers to look beyond the classic dryseason safari. In Green Season, the birdlife is extraordinary, the landscapes feel alive and each drive reveals a different side of Southern Africa.

“

It particularly suits birders, photographers, repeat safari travellers and clients who value atmosphere and a more relaxed pace. Rain usually arrives in passing showers rather than continuing all day, so game drives can generally continue. Setting expectations around warm temperatures, humidity and changing road conditions allow these elements to become part of the experience.

Wildlife Seasons of India and Sri Lanka

Demand is strong for Rajasthan from mid-January to early March 2027. Jaipur and Udaipur are particularly busy as international travel coincides with domestic holidays, festivals and weddings. If clients have preferred hotels or particular experiences in mind, now is the time to secure them.

Borneo

May, June and October are sought-after times to visit Borneo, with limited accommodation in key wildlife areas. Encourage clients planning to travel in 2027 to book early, particularly if they hope to stay around Sepilok or the Kinabatangan River. Secure the wildlife lodges first to give yourself more flexibility when building the rest of their journey.

Yala National Park, Sri Lanka

For clients considering wildlife beyond Africa, India and Sri Lanka offer a richly varied alternative. From October, India begins its transition from the lush green season into the cooler, drier northern winter. Landscapes gradually open up, migratory birds arrive and wildlife is increasingly drawn to rivers and water sources.

Vietnam

Wildlife of North India is an ideal introduction, combining Corbett and Ranthambore national parks with the National Chambal Sanctuary. Across these contrasting landscapes, clients may encounter tigers, leopards, Asian elephants, striped hyenas and an abundance of birdlife.

For more adventurous clients, Snow Leopards of Ladakh ventures into the remote Himalayas. Expert-led tracking is complemented by insights into Ladakh’s Buddhist culture and mountain communities. It suits active clients and photographers who value the search and remarkable setting as much as a possible sighting. Sri Lanka offers a tropical contrast. Wildlife of Sri Lanka explores

Wilpattu, Gal Oya, Horton Plains and Yala. Elephants, leopards and sloth bears may be the headline species, while monkeys, hornbills and other native wildlife bring variety to every drive and guided walk.

“

India’s wildlife travel season begins in October, when national parks reopen, landscapes are green, migratory birds arrive and animals are often seen in family groups. We can help match the timing to what your clients want to see.

“

For wildlife enthusiasts and repeat visitors, extend the journey to Gir for Asiatic lions, Kaziranga for greater one-horned rhinoceros, or Nagarhole for elephants and big cats. We can shape the right combination around the species and habitats that interest your clients most.

Growing up in Slovakia, where many of these festive traditions are deeply cherished, I find something wonderfully familiar about Christmas in the Nordics. It is an incredibly magical time to experience the region.

“

Yet the appeal of Finnish Lapland extends well beyond Santa. Long winter nights, frozen landscapes and cosy accommodation create a distinct sense of place, while a well-paced itinerary balances time outdoors with opportunities to slow down and enjoy the atmosphere. Bonus Two-Category Cabin Upgrade* Bonus Night in Vancouver* and Save up to AUD800/NZD900 per couple on Rocky Mountaineer*.

Misty Fjords National Monument, Alaska

Some clients want the Canadian Rockies. Others want Alaska. Rockies, Rail & Coastal Alaska Expedition brings both together, pairing Rocky Mountaineer with a National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions voyage.

For clients considering both the Canadian Rockies and an Alaska expedition, this journey connects them in one itinerary. It begins at the Fairmont Banff Springs, continues through the Rockies aboard Rocky Mountaineer in GoldLeaf Service and includes a Vancouver stay before the expedition voyage aboard Greg Mortimer.

The journey begins with three nights at Fairmont Banff Springs and guided exploration of Banff National Park, including Lake Louise and, when seasonal access allows, Moraine Lake. Clients then travel through the Rockies to Vancouver aboard Rocky Mountaineer in GoldLeaf Service, enjoying glass-domed views and regionally inspired dining along the way.

Misty Fjords, Hubbard Glacier, Sitka, Haines and Prince Rupert bring together glaciers, wildlife and coastal communities. Clients may see whales, bears, sea otters and bald eagles, while naturalists and cultural specialists add depth to what they encounter. For clients already considering Rocky Mountaineer or an Alaska

expedition, this journey connects both experiences in one itinerary. With the rail, hotels, transfers and voyage brought together, it gives advisors a starting point that can be tailored with extra time in the Rockies or Vancouver.

“

Rocky Mountaineer and coastal Alaska complement each other: one opens up the mountains, while the other takes clients to places best explored by a small ship.
