Newcastle Uni Church celebrates baptism

The Newcastle University Church officially welcomed Hamish Bottin into the congregation as he was baptised in Lake Macquarie on November 5, 2022. He was baptised by NNSW young adults director, Pastor Blair Lemke and a beautiful afternoon was enjoyed by friends and family.

Mr Bottin was raised in an Adventist family in Kempsey and moved down to Newcastle in 2021 to attend university. He discovered the Adventist Students on Campus (ASOC) group, who are a student group connected to the Newcastle University Church company. He participated in Bible studies and made the decision for baptism in October 2021.
