Last year we raised $800,000 to support these projects:

Faith FM Growth

Faith FM continues to be one of the leading broadcast to baptism media ministries in Australia. Funds from the Big Camp Appeal have been used for the design and acquisition of a permanent mobile Faith FM studio that is in production and will be delivered in the next 3 months. The mobile Faith FM studio will be used for live shows from churches, schools, community events and natural disaster response incidents. The scope is to increase awareness and audience of Faith FM throughout NNSW.

Social Media Discipleship

Six pilot projects have been launched across NNSW creating a social media presence and impact for pastors and local churches. Each project has focused on building an online presence with the aim of transitioning these interactions into in person contact and engagement. They have resulted in thousands of online engagements as well as in person connections and attendance at church outreach initiatives.

Youth Development

11 young adults have been sponsored and activated for frontline mission work across multiple churches in NNSW. Their focus has been on building new connections in the community and sharing the Gospel truth with those open to it. Impact has varied from contacts attending church, others progressing to Bible studies and still others committing their life to Jesus through baptism.

University Ministry Outreach

This project involves the design and development of a university food trailer to be used for University Campus outreach. The trailer has been designed and is in the production stage with an anticipated launch in the second quarter of 2026.

Missionary Pioneers

There are multiple towns and regions in NNSW without any Seventh-Day Adventist presence. Your support will allow the Evangelism Department to pilot a new initiative training and sending out a team of 4 pioneers to plant a church in a new, previously unuttered town or region within our Conference over a 2-3 year window.

Youth Discipleship

This ongoing project supports up to 30 young adults for 6-12 month discipleship experiences working with local churches in the community to connect with seekers and share Bible studies. It is a life changing experience developing outreach sills in our youth and making an eternal impact in the lives of those they reach out to.

Social Media Discipleship

This project, commenced in 2025, is in its infancy and your continued support will allow us to further develop the six projects already underway as well as expand the initiative to another 5-7 churches in 2026. The focus is on building pastor and church capacity to have a social media presence in their community and influence hearts and minds with the Gospel, translating online audiences into in person encounters and discipleship journeys.
