The Breakfast Show Re-Launch
By Maddy Voinea - Communications Director, NNSW ConferenceOver the last few years, the NNSW Conference has been producing a breakfast show which is broadcast on Faith FM radio. It began as a prerecorded show and in early 2018 the Breakfast Show went live and is now on air each morning from 7am to 9am. In 2019 the executive committee decided to discontinue the show as they endeavoured to find the best use of evangelistic funds. However the show is still on air and that’s largely due to our listeners.

The response received from listeners over the past months in the form of emails, messages, and phone calls has been phenomenal. That has meant that the conference has been able to keep the show going while working on creating a strategy to make it viable in the long term. The team is committed to do everything possible to keep the breakfast show on air. This is not an easy task. Remember that this is one of many really fantastic ministries happening in our region, and in a world where you can’t do everything, it can be
challenging to choose which are most important.
The Breakfast Show costs $120,000 each year to stay on air. This covers staff, and some equipment. We don’t pay rent or utilities - all that is provided by the Adventist church in NNSW. Our site broadcast costs are covered by Christian churches all around Australia through the Faith FM network. So apart from all that, the creation of the show itself costs $120,000 each year. In the world of professional broadcast radio, this is incredibly cheap. Some commercial shows cost in the millions of dollars to produce. So for us to be able to do this as a ministry is incredible. The potential for reach on the Faith FM network is nationwide with over 170 broadcast sites across Australia and the network is growing each year.
Our goal is to make the Breakfast show a permanent feature of Australian Christian radio and we want millions of Australians to hear the Word of God through the breakfast show. But we can only do this with your support. We need to fundraise $120,000 to keep this show on air in 2020. Many of you have already supported us in the past and this is the reason this ministry is even possible. (continued on page 2)

We want to invite you to take the next step and be an integral member of this ministry and join with others in keeping the show on air. Go to the website nnsw.adventist.org.au/breakfastshow and make a donation of any amount. You can donate one off or you can become a regular supporter. You can also give via the eGiving app. Just search for Faith FM NNSW Conference.

Thank you! For your support so far and for making this ministry possible.
Tumbulgum Adventist Missionaries In India

For the last 20 years Robert (Bob) Myers and Allyn Barden from the Tumbulgum Adventist Church, have being running evangelistic programs, micro-financing and humanitarian support programs in India. Tumbulgum Adventist Church is a small but heavily involved church that enriches outreach and evangelism in India. Last year Bob and Allyn held a Revelation Seminar in Bangalore at the SDA Junior College Auditorium from October 8th-31st 2019 for Adventist pastors, non-Adventist pastors and leaders. Originally these meetings were expected to have 50 Adventist and 50 Non-Adventist individuals attend but the Lord led to having 80 Non-Adventist
pastors and leaders attend including two pentecostal bishops.
On the last night of these programs, a graduation ceremony was held for all delegates. Interdenominational pastors gave their testimonies and came to know the real truths from the word of God and many decided that they will follow the Bible, keep the Sabbath and follow in our Lord’s footsteps. Some of these pastors are now making commitments to join the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Tumbulgum Adventist Church financially supported the evangelistic program. The delegates would like Bob Meyers and Allyn Barden to return in 2020 to conduct a Daniel Seminar. Please keep the Tumbulgum Adventist Church, Bob, Allyn and the people of Bangalore and Karnataka, India in your prayers as they continue this ministry.
Breakthrough Church Planting “Ted Talks” Event

On February 1, the Church Planting Department of the NNSW Conference ran an inspiring Ted Talks style event where church leaders and planters heard from experienced leaders and visionaries on the best practices of church planting. The event was well attended with around 70 members of several church planting teams present. The TED-style talks were held in the chapel at the NNSW Conference Office and was followed by a delicious networking dinner.
The speakers included Adrian Raethel, Wayne Krause, Marcus Mundall, Wayne Boehm and more. The talks were interspersed with question discussion sessions where teams could apply the information presented to their current church planting context. All of the talks are available on the conference website: nnsw.adventist.org.au.
