Architecture Design Studio 1 is the first design studio at Department of Architecture Universitas Gadjah Mada. In this section of studio, we have to be skilled in composing color compositions, shapes, materials in 2D and 3D which are presented in graphic media and models and able to provide logical explanations for his work as part of his scientific responsibility. aesthetics are preferred to be studied in this section.
Architecture Design Studio 1 divided to 3 main segment : 2D composition, 3D models, and the main task. In this portfolio, I show my 3D models and main task design. In the 3D models, we have several theme : horizontal themed, vertikal themed, folded themed, etc. In the main task, we have to design a folly architecture. I design a bus shelter called “Foury�. This Bus shelter design based on 4-sided form.

S HE LT E R
Foury Bus Shelter is an extraordinary bus shelter. The design was developed by playing the 4-sided form. Instead of making the sides straight, we play the inner angle to several angle. This different angle combined with repetiting the 4-sided form to make a scope formation and integrate it with the shape of the stool. This easy-creative design is very easy to apply in various cities in Indonesia.

Architecture Design Studio 2 is the second design studio at Department of Architecture Universitas Gadjah Mada. In this section of studio, we have to be skilled in transforming the concept of a simple single function in a building into the form of space and building mass and able to provide a logical explanation for his work as part of his scientific responsibility.
Architecture Design Studio 2 divided to 3 main segment of study case : Bicycle Shop, Bakery, and the public toilet. In this portfolio, I show all of my works. I make The Bikesho-P Bicycle Shop, Roudy Bakery, and Wisdom Park Public Toilet to fullfill the studio enquirement. All design having each function and their own standards to be fullfilled.

Bikesho-P is a bike shop located at Persatuan Street, Yogyakarta. The bikeshop assumed to serve a purchase dealer and repair service. The design of the building was challenged to able responding street setback. An iconic design developed by playing a circle module into 2 main building mass beyond a rectangle module as the accent. The iconic design also developed by playing the roof layer and light vent. The site design also developed by playing the guideline of base circle module into site.

Roudy Bakery is a bakery counter at Taman Pintar Yogyakarta. The design wa challenged to able to respond the education vibes at the site. Circular module inspired by The Oval Building of Taman Pintar, applicated into the design of circulation ramp. The bakery kitchen located at the center of the building and make the baking activity as the main point of interest of the bakery. The mass developed by playing the circle mass into several layering and roofing. A creative bakery at creative center of Jogja.

The Wisdom Park Public Toilet is a public toilet to substitute the existing public toilet at the site. The design was challenged to be easily searchable due to the park area. The design was developed by playing the triangle module into the floor plan design and roof structure design. The soft-iconic design designed to respect the nature arround. The toilet has to cover 3 main function : male area, female area, and diffable area. Therefore, toilet has to be diffable-friendly to accomodate diffable users.

In this section of studio, we have to be skilled in designing a 2-story building with internal and external factors as the main consideration and able to provide logical explanations for his work as part of his scientific responsibility.
Architecture Design Studio 3 divided to 2 main segment of study case : Adaptive Reuse of an Contractor Studio Building, and a Education Center of National Geographic. The adaptive reuse study case is concerned to how improving activity at the existing building to be more effective and add a new function. The Education Center of National Geographic is concerned to respond an unique site condition near to Tambakboyo Lake, Sleman.

Adapt Koffy Coffee Shop is an coffe shop as an added function of Merapi Arsita Graha Contractor Building. The design was challenged to respect the main existing building and make a new creative design into it. A new glass house made as the extension of the iconic terrace of the building. A transparent view made to respect the main existing building and make a new soul into the building. A collaboration between a classic style building and a new modern function develop a universal space for all.

Maraphic Education Center is an education center from National Geographic Indonesia. Maraphic is an acronym of “Merapi Observation by National Geographic�. As same as the name, main theme of this building is Merapi Observation. The dseign was developed by maximizing several view : the main access road, Tambakboyo Lake, and Merapi Mount. As the education center, this building also accomodating many educational activity such as exhibition, film screening, and digital library.

Architecture Design Studio 4 is the fourth design studio at Department of Architecture Universitas Gadjah Mada. In this section of studio, we have to be skilled in designing buildings up to 4 floors with an emphasis on structural systems with utility and able to provide logical explanations for his work as part of his scientific responsibility. In this studio study case, we have to redesign Junior High School 10 Yogyakarta.
This Project was named Sakola Sapulo which has the meaning the Ten School. The Design was challenged to maximizing the “between 2 road� site issue and optimizing the educational activity of the school. A circular concept applied to develop an interactive activity through all design of the school. The new building orientation also turned into south road which has more crowded activity as an effort of place marking of the school building.

Nusantara Archiecture History is an provides lessons on contextual history including concepts, principles, and various factors that influence the development of architecture and cities in Indonesia. This course is conducted in the form of a series of lecture classes. In the end of this course, we have to explore Kraton Yogyakarta architectural heritage.
In this project, we have to digitalize a “nDalem� (traditional house of Kraton Yogyakarta) as the part of guarding the Yogyakarta traditional architecture. In our case, we have to digitalize nDalem Pakuningratan, Yogyakarta. This nDalem is owned by Pakuningratan family and currently used as a traditional restaurant. An unique asimilation of culture appear in the use of metal columns of the pendhapi. Metal columns usually attached to the Colonial architecture.

Settlement Design is provide an understanding of the various methods, paradigms, concepts, and implementation of settlements. This course is conducted in the form of a series of lecture classes. Besides of exploring many theory of settlement design, we also practicing the theory by simulating design of concepted settlement.
In this project, we have to design a millenials-friendly house. The main issue of this task is how to accomodating a program based of millenials behavior in this era. A limited area of available settlement area also has to be noticed. Therefore, we design a settlement for millenials users by develop all issue without neglecting the creativity of house design.

H T K H O U S E P O N O R O G O Real Project | Status : Under Construction
HTK House is a shophouse project located at Ponorogo Regency, East Java. The owner is an entrepreneur of plastic furniture product. Therefore, the groundfloor projected to be furniture shop and house beyond it. In this project, we collaborating with local contractor for construction and structural consultant.
The isssue must be concerned is the owner request that shop has to be ready to use during the house is being constructed. Therefore, the shop has to finished at the first phase of construction. A careful structural work has to be developed at the shop space due to activity beyond.

S M A G A D I G I T A L C A N T E E N Advent Fajar | Glan Arya | Anggi Apriani | Hafizh Naufal Competition / Real Project | Status : Under Construction
Smaga Digital Canteen is part of Roemah Tiga (SHS 3 Surakarta Alumnee Center) School Renovation Program. This canteen design was contested in internal alumnee competition in 2020. The new design projected to redesign the existing canteen and support SHS Surakarta as the Digital School in Surakarta.
The main issue of this design is a digital concept that applicated into several design development. The canteen providing 3 co-working spaces that fully diigitalized. A digitalized payment system also developed in this canteen through a collaboration between school and a national bank. The main stage designed to be the main focal point of the building. All functions are moveable designed to accomodating crowd issue.

In this case, the user want to develop the stalled room at his house to be a cozy bedroom with minimalize the budget. A unused childhood bed of the user also redesigned to a new minimalist bed.
