about me advent fajar indrajaya. a young Indonesian, born in wonogiri, december 18 1999. student of architecture study universitas gadjah mada, yogyakarta. have an interest in tourism planning and urban design development. pretty good at team management and public speaking. at the study of architecture, advent experienced to be assistant lecturer in several course : urban design course, pedestrian oriented design course, and nusantara architecture course. furthermore, he’s awarded several scholarship on his study such as academic achievement improvement scholarship from ministry of education and culture and outstanding student from wonogiri’s government.

/ toll transport ; connect in order to accelerating economic and logistic movement, indonesia government acclerating the development of trans-java toll road project, including bawen-magelang-jogja section. in order to connect, new problem appeared, unconnecting the connection, two section of the road being divided by the road, meanwhile people arround the road is not affected the faster transport by the road. automated rapid transit, a blended tech between train and bus technology, developped to be the solution of these.

/ connect, attract, stimulate the station is designed as simple as it is, keep it stay in touch by architectural design of people architecture nearby to avoid design-gap mindset by people arround. It’s necessary in order to keep it public, not only as the architectural mark, but also as the transportation knot function. to make people think it’s special-not special design is a big challenge: to make people think it has huge effect into their life and economical solution, and to make people think it’s not a special destination, just regularly visited destination like traditional market arround. Therefore, architectural design inspired by locally developped architecture style is being adapted to make the design well-blended to area. at the end of the day, the station acted to be attractor gate into the area arround. moreover, the station acted not only as transportation knot but also the district connector. as the fact the toll road divided the village into east-side and west-side, an additional viaduct is built near the station being a connection road under the toll road. the station landscape also designed as economic stimulant by creating floating stall to stimulate nex t other public function in future.

inspired by the function of the background and pendhapi in a traditional joglo house. The presence of a function. this presents interaction and collaboration, both residents and neighbors, as well as individually the position of the building itself with the surrounding buildings. by adapting from With this idea, the functions in the hotel building are arranged by carrying the concept of 'collaborate'. collaborating does not mean eliminating the importance of privacy in the context of the living room, but increase the space where there is more interactions can occur, both between visitors and the building's interaction with the surrounding environment. the implementation of the concept of collaborating on the design plan is: the existence of a site landscape space that responds to both pedestrian and pedestrian path conditions reinforce the site's position on the sudirman - simanjuntak node ; there is a function other than hotel services on the groundfloor in the form of a coffee shop ; increase collaboration space on each floor in a typical hotel.

/ a common space, different way canteen, common space which all school has it. even it’s just an hour being used, sometimes students’ creativity better stimulated in non programmed area. so, why do we program the area to be better stimulating for students’ idea? digital canteen; mixed program between digital payment; digital interactive display, and some digital function program such as podcast and multimedia room, programmed into existing canteen. maximizing additional digital function and collaborative space into existing canteen acted to be stimulation part of creativity, how to be being out of the box added into common thinking method as common school was. canteen also programmed to be appreciation space : for students by presenting their creativity to paint their own painting, and show their ability in art and music by providing art stage.

a ‘floating’ mosque and rest area structure built to be the center of interactions along the mangrove nursery area, responding to site contex t based on people story which was meeting point between surakarta sultanate and south sea kingdom
/ a walkway to stimulate watumejo mangrove park project is a collaborative project between universitas gadjah mada and the community of desa kembang, pacitan regency with full funding from rumah zakat action. the main issue of this project is to mitigate the megathrust tsunami and avoiding flood from grindulu river that inundated the village in 2017. the main goal of this project is to stimulate mangrove green belt along the delta area. green belt will be used to slowing the tsunami waves towards the village and improving the evacuation time into safe zone. disaster risk and ecotourism approach was used in the design process. besides of goal to make the green belt completely planted, an ecotourism walkway was built to be the stimulant of mangrove nursery. 10 spots in total designed to be education spot about history and disaster mitigation in area.

/ applying catalist in order to facilitate contextual food hub, team observing there’s a non-functional part of jalaprang park. being a public area, only one of third area accessed by public regularly, meanwhile there’s culinary spot along the road near the park. so why do not blend towards? a food hub - also acted as public attractivity - addicted into north-side of the park. something new added and blended into the site. not only on the ground, attractivity pulled vertically; upside being a eating deck and downside being a playing ground and storage.

/ responding the site addition function located into northside, and responding the existing plantation and site design. some food stall are existed outside the area of the park before, causing one of third area in the northside are not accesible. opening the border and blending the foodstall into the park are strategies to make park more attractive. park plantations are pretty huge. design responded by making attractivity not only grounded but also vertically oriented. park view exploitated by synchronize floor plan and plantation plan.
