MICHELLE TÉGÉ
Michelle Tégé is a trailblazing public servant and community leader with over 33 years of civil service experience with the NYPD. Assembly District 43 represents the vibrant communities of Crown Heights, Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Flatbush, and portions of East Flatbush. Michelle currently serves as the Member of State Committee for New York State Assembly District 43, Delegate to the Judicial Convention for the 43rd Assembly District, and as a County Committee Member, roles in which she has demonstrated principled leadership and steadfast dedication to democratic participation.
A longtime Brooklyn resident and legacy homeowner, Michelle brings a deep, lived understanding of the priorities, challenges, and aspirations of the communities she represents. Through their mission of “Community Empowerment through Service,” Michelle Tégé and Co-Leader Anthony Beckford are the frontline defenders for AD 43. From Prospect Lefferts Gardens to Crown Heights, they prioritize our neighborhood by championing police accountability, education excellence, and affordable housing to prevent displacement. Their leadership ensures every Central Brooklyn resident has the healthcare and mental health resources they deserve.
