Secondary Indicator: SAT REASONING TEST

Definition

The SAT Reasoning Test (formerly known as the SAT I: Reasoning Test) assesses a student’s reasoning in Mathematics, Verbal and Writing Skills.1 It is taken by college-bound juniors and seniors and is used by college admissions officers as one key factor to determine who will be admitted. The participation rate of seniors who took the SAT test is presented in order to assess the entire student body’s college orientation.
