THE 2024 TWIN CITIES AUTO SHOW AT A GLANCE

SUVs and pickups. There will be opportunities to test drive the latest technology in EVs and chances to talk to experts about these emerging technologies.

Minnesotan’s love their trucks. In fact, 90% of the vehicles purchased in Minnesota each year are pick-up trucks, SUVs, minivans, or crossovers. The Show will reflect that interest with 2024 and even some 2025 models. Innovations in tailgates, cameras, comfort, storage, safety features and even built-in vacuums are quickly becoming standard features in all these practical vehicles.

The Electric Neighborhood, powered by Xcel Energy, will be more expansive than ever. The newest EV plug-in and hybrid vehicles on the market will be on display. Staff will be on hand to discuss how to own and operate these new vehicles. Ride and drives will be available for a wide selection of models. Even Minnesota’s own Meteorologist and EV Expert Paul Douglas will be on hand to lend his expertise on this new way to travel Minnesota roads.

But the Twin Cities Auto Show has always been the consumers license to dream, and there are two areas that will bring those dreams to life. The first is Luxury Lane with vehicles that may not always be the most practical - but are aspirational to own. In addition, new to the show is Adrenaline Avenue, a curated display of vehicles that will show off rare and hard to come by vehicles. It is a must see for any car enthusiast.

In addition to those week-long displays, we have something special going on every day including an appearance by Car Masters celebrity Constance Nunes on the opening weekend. Tuesday is Military Appreciation Night. Wednesday is Half-Price Day. On Thursday CBS’s Survivor will host a casting call on the Show Floor and it’s our Careers in Cars Day. Friday night is After Dark at the Auto Show. Meanwhile, there are prizes and giveaways through the show including the opportunity to win free gas for a year.
